How do I return an item?


  • Orders typically ship within 24 hours, or the next business day.
  • International shipments are subject to additional duties and delays in customs. We are not responsible for any customs delays, duties or fees.
The following is an estimated shipping transit time for the different shipping methods, actual times may vary.

  • USA USPS Priority Mail it usually takes 2-3 Business Days for delivery.
  • International Standard shipments typically take 2-5 weeks for delivery.
  • International USPS Express Mail it usually takes 3-6 Business Days for International.
  • International shipments are typically delayed for 1-6 days in International Customs. If your country requires import duties for importing items from the USA then you will be responsible to pay these duties at the time of delivery. The shipping cost does not include your import fees.

Returns and Exchanges
Returns must be applied for using the information below and received by us no later than 45 days from the purchase date to be eligible for a refund.

All returns must have an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number assigned by a member of the kVconnection customer service or sales departments. This number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box or the box will be refused. Please contact for a return authorization number.

Return freight is the responsibility of the customer, excluding defective products or kVconnection errors. We recommend that you insure the package, as you are responsible for risk of loss on all returned packages. We also recommend that you make sure you pack the carton properly for return, as kVconnection will not issue credit for product damaged en route back to us due to poor shipping practices.

Returned product must be clean, undamaged, and complete with all manuals, accessories, and documents and packaging. The items must be in a resalable condition free of any non-removable labels or writing on the product or product packaging, and the UPC code must be intact for you to receive credit. The product must also have with it upon return to us a copy of the original invoice or packing slip. Products that are received by us that do not meet these conditions will be subject to handling charges and/or will not be processed as returns, and we will attempt to contact you to determine the disposition of these goods prior to their disposal. For products sold by kVconnection for other manufacturers, your return rights for non-defective items are subject to the rules of that manufacturer. If that manufacturer does not allow for returns on opened items, there is no provision for return to kVconnection (except in cases of manufacturer defects, which may be covered under a manufacturer's warranty). If that manufacturer allows returns but charges restocking fees, their fees will be applied. Most manufacturers only allow returns within 45 days, so you must process returns of products from other manufacturers back to us within 20 days of the original invoice date to allow us 10 days to process the return internally, and failure to do so will negate your right of return to us.

Bulk Cable that is cut to customer specified lengths is not returnable.

Custom cables and other build-to-order products are non-cancelable and non-returnable. All custom cables are guaranteed to be free of defect in workmanship or components, but are not guaranteed for fit of purpose to the application. In cases where the customer has provided a configuration we do guarantee that the construction of the cable matches the customer-provided specification. Cables deemed defective will be replaced or repaired at our sole discretion. Custom cables that were ordered incorrectly may be returned for rework at a charge, please realize that the turnaround of these items is subject to our production schedule, and expedite fees may be necessary to provide immediate repair or replacement.

Ship all returns, with original packaging and all product components pre-paid to kVconnection, the return shipping address will be provided when the RMA is issued.

All returned products with a valid RMA number will be evaluated. The issuance of an RMA number does not guarantee credit. If kVconnection deems that a product is defective and still within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the product, issue a refund, or credit your account at our discretion.

Products accepted for return for reasons other than defect or error by kVconnection will be assessed a standard 15% re-stocking fee and must be received within 30 days from date of shipment. Manufacturer re-stocking fees greater than 15% will be assessed on top of kVconnection standard fee. Custom or special order products are only returnable due to manufacturing defects or error by kVconnection.

All products sold by kVconnection are warranted to customer, for normal application, for a period of 30 days from date of sale to the customer. If the product is defective in material or workmanship, or fails to operate for the Manufacturer's intended purpose during the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced when returned free of charge by kVconnection. The customer must provide kVconnection with customer proof of purchase on all products returned. There are no other expressed or implied warranties except as set forth herein. There is no warranty covering consequential damages, or incidental expenses, including injury to persons or property.
