Specially engineered long length FireWire camera cables specifically designed to reduce attenuation and noise common with long distance runs. 4-Pin to 4-Pin cables. Note: Cables are designed for camera use and not for other FireWire purposes. Cables do not pass power. This product has been tested with a number of DV devices including cameras and decks. Though 1394 circuitry supports firewire speeds up to 400Mbps, it is possible that some configurations of equipment may not work. The addition of repeaters and cable drivers may or may not solve a particulate interface problem. 1394 equipment such as Hard drives, Scanners, and CDROM drives should not be used with these cables.
